This species is easy to care for. The substrate should be rich in nutrients and always kept slightly moist. After proliferation is complete, fertilization can be carried out regularly after about 2 months until autumn. Usually numerous rhizome-like offsets are formed directly on the mother tuber, which can simply be broken off.
